The Women’s Board of Nationwide Children’s Hospital is proud to host for the 18th time, the Junior Golf Classic Monday, July 19, 2010 at The Ohio State University Golf Club – Gray Course. The revival of this tournament coincides with the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Invitational. The Junior Golf Classic is geared for children ages 6-18, allowing participants to have fun while putting their golf skills to the test, and helping patients and families of Nationwide Children’s Hospital. All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the areas of greatest need at the hospital. Entries are open to golfers who will not have reached their 19th birthday by July 19, 2010. The field is open to the first 140 junior golfers with the following divisions and fees: 18 holes: 16-18- and 13-15-year-olds ($50 for registration) 9 holes 10-12- and 6-9-year-olds ($40 for registration) *Lunch will be provided for all participants. During the Classic, the Women’s Board will hold the “Tag-A-Bag” campaign in which contributors can designate a tag to a junior golfers’ bag commemorating their participation. Donations range from $10 to $100, and may be sent to Nationwide Children’s Hospital Foundation – attn: Junior Golf Classic, 700 Children’s Dr., Columbus, OH 43205.
