Childrens Miracle Network announced today that Wal-Mart and Sams Club associates met their goal to raise $10 million during the month of May in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their partnership with Childrens Miracle Network. Columbus Childrens Hospital is one of 160 Childrens Miracle Network hospitals that will benefit from the May campaign. Wal-Mart and Sams Club associates, customers and members in Central Ohio raised $84,424.74 of the $10 million total, and $195,238.53 since January 1, 2007. Miracle Balloons were sold for $1.00 during the month-long campaign, and each dollar raised benefits the life-saving care at Columbus Childrens Hospital.Wal-Mart and Sams Club associates continue their unwavering commitment to Columbus Childrens Hospital, said Brian Harman, Childrens Miracle Network Director at Childrens Hospital.
