Biography
Joshua Frazier, MD is an attending physician in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and medical director of the Pediatric ECMO Program at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Dr. Frazier first came to Nationwide for residency training in 2001 after earning his MD from Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington, WV. He completed residency, chief residency and fellowship all at Nationwide Children’s and joined the faculty in 2008 as an assistant professor at The Ohio State University’s department of pediatrics. Dr. Frazier’s clinical and educational interests center on the development and implementation of ECMO-specific education and training, especially of Critical Care Medicine fellows. He also serves on the hospital’s Ethics Committee and Institutional Review Board and is a collaborative researcher on several multicenter studies. Dr. Frazier has been a clinical and research mentor for several trainees and was recognized as Faculty Teacher of the Year by the Fellows in 2016 and 2020.
