Biography

Vignesh Doraiswamy, MD, FAAP, is a physician in the Sections of Adult Hospital Medicine and Hospital Pediatrics at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and the Division of Hospital Medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He is now the Med-Peds residency Associate Program director. He is also a clinical assistant professor at The Ohio State College of Medicine where he works with medical students as a portfolio coach and applied health systems science coach. He was previously the quality and patient safety lead for the James Hospital service lines and an Associate Medical Director at Ohio State Wexner Medical Center’s University Hospital. He completed a combined internal medicine and pediatrics residency and was the Med-Peds chief resident at Penn State Health. Dr. Doraiswamy specializes in taking care of hospitalized adults and children. He is actively involved in medical student and resident education with interests in health equity and advocacy, health systems science, curriculum design and clinical reasoning. His clinical interests include point of care ultrasound and global health. He also chairs the Peds Hospital Medicine Fellowship’s Program Evaluation Committee.
