Biography
Veronika Polishchuk, MD, is a BMT and Apheresis specialist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. After receiving her doctor of medicine from SUNY Downstate Medical College, Dr. Polishchuk spent her time as an intern and resident in the Department of Pediatrics and a fellowship in the Division of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, Marrow and Blood Cell Transplantation at Albert Einstein College of Medicine Children’s Hospital at Montefiore. Dr. Polishchuk went on to complete a PBMT fellowship in the Division of Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplantation at Duke University Medical Center Duke Children’s Hospital. She has been awarded Best Teaching Fellow Award and Best Teaching Resident Award from the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore and is a professional member of the American Society of Hematology and oncology, of Hematology, of Clinical Oncology and for Blood and Marrow Transplantation. Before coming to Nationwide Children’s, Dr. Polishchuk served as a PBMT specialist at Texas Children’s Hospital and assistant professor at the Baylor College of Medicine.
