In its 85th year, the TWIG Bazaar will again offer shoppers unique and traditional merchandise during a one-day event 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Sunday, November 18 at the Ohio Expo Center. Proceeds from the Bazaar will benefit Nationwide Childrens Hospital.As the largest, single-day event sponsored by the TWIG (Together With Important Goals) chapters, the Bazaar features handmade items including lighted/decorated trees, jewelry, stationary and holiday ornaments and decorations. In addition, antiques, collectibles and home-baked treats will be available for purchase.Attendees can receive an early entrance pass to have the first look at one-of-a-kind crafts with a $25 donation to Nationwide Childrens. Patrons may contact Nationwide Childrens Hospital Foundation at (614) 355-0810 to obtain an early entrance pass.Last year, the TWIG Bazaar welcomed more than 3,000 shoppers and raised more than $85,000 for Nationwide Childrens. Since 1916, TWIG and Nationwide Childrens have collaborated to raise funds so that no child goes without medical care regardless of the familys ability to pay. In 2006 alone, TWIG contributed more than $635,000 to Childrens Hospital.
