Trisha Patel, OTD, OTR/L, is an occupational therapist who specializes in the hand and upper extremity. She has clinical experience in hand therapy with both the adult and pediatric populations allowing her to treat a wide variety of conditions and expand her knowledge and skill set. She has a particular interest in hand therapy, sports medicine, chronic pain, and chronic disease related self management.
“I have a strong interest in understanding and treating chronic pain and pediatric chronic disease with a focus in rheumatic conditions. I am a big advocate of promoting early self-management skills including teaching children and adolescents how to manage their own pain, fatigue, sleep etc.”
