Biography

Summit Shah, MD, MPH, is a Pediatric Radiologist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital with sub-specialization in Nuclear Medicine and Oncologic Imaging. He is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology and also fellowship trained and certified in Pediatric Radiology. He completed his medical and residency training at The Ohio State University. Dr. Shah went on to complete a pediatric radiology fellowship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. He is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Toledo College of Medicine. Dr. Shah is also the Associate Program Director for the Pediatric Radiology Fellowship. Dr. Shah has published in several peer-reviewed journals and spoken at national meetings to advance his field. In addition to clinical interests of nuclear medicine, oncologic imaging, and ultrasound, he has a passion for population health and healthcare quality improvement with a focus on adding value to patient care. He also has interest in medical education. Nationally, Dr. Shah serves on the Nuclear Medicine committee of the Society of Pediatric Radiology. He is also part of the Pediatric Council for the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging and is active in the American College of Radiology. At Nationwide Children’s Hospital, he co-chairs the Radiation Safety Committee and is the radiology lead for Bone Mineral Density.
