The 21st Annual Slice of Columbus event was huge success hosting its biggest crowd at Lifestyle Communities Pavilion on Wednesday, September 15. More than 4,500 pizza lovers joined the 19 local pizza shops and helped raise more than $130,000 for Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Slice of Columbus is organized by the Development Board of Nationwide Children’s Hospital with all proceeds benefiting the hospital. Since its inception more than two decades ago, Slice of Columbus has raised $600,000 for Nationwide Children’s. The 2010 Slice of Columbus Winners include: People’s Choice Romeo’s Pizza Sparano’s Pizza Mellow Mushroom Judge’s Award Creno’s Pizza Jet’s Pizza Sparano’s Pizza Wags & Elliott’s Award Catalfino’s Italian Sparano’s Pizza and Jet’s Pizza (Tie) Papa John’s Slice of Columbus was presented by Ezzo Sausage and sponsored by Alliance Data, Columbia Gas, Marsh, Pepsi, Alive, RDP Foodservice, Orange Barrel Media and QFM 96.
