With more than 4,000 Reach Out and Read Programs nationwide, Nationwide Childrens Hospital is proud to be among the largest. Each year, Nationwide Childrens, along with community partners, hold a three-month community-wide book drive collecting new and gently used books to raise literacy awareness throughout central Ohio. It is with the generous support of the community that enables Nationwide Childrens physicians and staff to help encourage family literacy in the home prior to a childs entrance into the school system. Now through March 31, Nationwide Childrens is calling on the community to donate new, preschool-age books or gently used books up to a fourth grade reading level. Please, no books with religious messages. Book donation sites include Nationwide Childrens Hospital, Half Price Books, COSI (receive $2 off admission when you bring in a book donation), Tommys Pizza (Dublin location only) and Dave Fox Remodeling.
