Biography
Rachel Santos is one of the first people you meet with you come to Center for Healthy Weight/Bariatrics. Rachel is the clinical medical assistant for the team, as well as the bariatric coordinator for the Bariatric clinic. Rachel will get you and your family ready to see the Medical Providers and the rest of your team during your visit. Rachel went to Harrison College in Grove City, Ohio, and obtained an Associates of Applied Science for Medical Assisting in April of 2017. Rachel also passed the American Association of Medical Assistants test to become a Certified Medical Assistant in July 2018. Rachel became a part of the Center for Healthy Weight and Nutrition and Bariatric team in May 2019. Rachel then also accepted the position at Nationwide Children’s Hospital to become the Bariatric Coordinator in October 2020.
