Your child and family deserve meals that are nutritious and appealing, and that’s what we provide at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. We offer several options, including hotel-style room service, a cafeteria, food court, two coffee shops and other choices. Room service in a hospital? Yes, Nationwide Children’s Hospital offers on-demand classic hotel-style room service meals. Depending on the diet ordered by your child’s doctor, your child can order from a menu that includes chicken Caesar salad, oven-fried chicken, quesadillas and even triple layer chocolate cake. Family members and guests can also order room service meals. Just buy a guest tray card from the hospital cafeteria, food court or Clementine’s Café for only $5 plus tax. Order any time from 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. We’ll deliver your meal within 45 minutes. Your child may select meals from the patient menu and may be able to order from the cafeteria menu for a small additional cost. Check with your child’s nurse or doctor to make sure your food choices are approved for your child.

Cafeteria Located on the lower level of the Hospital, the Cafeteria offers patients, families, visitors and staff a wide variety of food offerings at all hours of the day. Each day a special Chef’s Cuisine entree, salads, sandwiches, pizza and other grab and go items are offered. Seating is provided in the spacious dining room as well as the outdoor courtyard, weather permitting. Cafeteria hours:

Food Court The hospital has a food court located in the lower level of the Education building. The food court offers a variety of salads, wraps, hot sandwiches and beverages, as well as sandwiches from Subway. The Food Court is open:

Clementine’s Café Clementine’s Café, an espresso bar, is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Find it on the first floor of the Outpatient Care Center near one of the ATM machines. Clementine’s also has sandwiches, salads, wraps and pizza. Magic Bean Café Located on the Blue and Green Path next to the Gift Shop, the Magic Bean Café is an espresso bar that also offers grab-and-go items and soft-serve frozen yogurt treats. Grove Café Located at the end of the green path in the Livingston Ambulatory Center, Grove Café offers deli sandwiches and wraps, grab-and-go snacks, and an assortment of drink options. Grove Café operates 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Panera Bread At 611 E. Livingston Ave. across from the main hospital, Panera Bread is a full-service bakery and café with breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Choose from hot soups, fresh salads, sandwiches on freshly baked bread, breakfast sandwiches, bagels, pastries, cookies and coffee. Open Monday to Saturday 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

We understand that you may want to bring your child a favorite meal. Before you bring food from home or have food delivered to the hospital, please check with your nurse. The dietitian or doctor may need to approve your food choices. If your baby is on formula, the Formula Room will provide it. The hospital offers many standard and special formulas. If your child’s formula is not available, your doctor and nurse will meet with Nutrition Services to find a similar formula. Your child’s nutrition is one of our top concerns. You can call the Formula Room at (614) 722-1528.

You’ll find a selection of vending machines with snacks and drinks behind Clementine’s Coffee on the orange path, and at our Crossroads location along the blue path. The vending area is open 24 hours a day.
