ECHO Tourette Syndrome and Tic Disorders
Professional Development through ECHO Tourette Syndrome and Tic Disorders, a free virtual learning network for medical providers and other allied disciplines, provides education relevant to identification and management of Tourette syndrome and tic disorders in pediatric patients.
Using case-based discussion, didactics, and network conversation, our aim is to build clinicians knowledge of best practices in identifying, managing, and treating pediatric patients with Tourette syndrome, tic disorders and other co-occurring conditions. ECHO Tourette Syndrome and Tic Disorders utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to increase clinicians confidence in providing the best care pathway for patients. In-depth training regarding differential diagnoses (functional movement disorder) and medical influences on symptom presentation is also provided. Participants will also gain a better understanding of resources available to them and families through the Tourette Association and other local and national resources.
