In June 2006, the Nationwide Foundation made a monumental $50 million commitment to support expansion of Nationwide Children’s programs and construction of a new 12-story patient tower that opened in June, 2012. Risk Factors for Self-Harm Among Youth With Bipolar Disorder In a cohort of Ohio Medicaid-enrolled youth with bipolar disorder (BD), we found older age, female sex, non-Hispanic white race/ethnicity, comorbid psychiatric disorders, prior suicidal ideation and self-harm, and prior mental health emergency department visits were positively associated with self-harm.
