More than half of the children Nationwide Children’s Hospital serves have health insurance through Medicaid, the government program for families with certain challenges. As of February 1, 2023, there is a change in Ohio’s Medicaid system. Many families won’t notice a difference. Some, especially those who are new to Medicaid, may have questions about the system and the way insurance covers their health care.
