Nicole Jewell, MSEd., AT, ATC, is a clinical and high school outreach athletic trainer at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Her high school outreach assignment is at Watkins Memorial High School as the assistant athletic trainer. Prior to joining the Sports Medicine team at Nationwide Children's Hospital Nicole served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for Lake Erie College in Painesville, Ohio. While at Lake Erie College Nicole's primary responsibilities were to cover men's and women's soccer, women's basketball, and baseball. While in graduate school at Old Dominion University Nicole worked as a graduate assistant Athletic Trainer at Norfolk State University. During her time at Norfolk State University Nicole was responsible for coverage of volleyball, football, men's and women's track and field, and softball. Nicole received her bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from Capital University where she covered men's soccer, softball, football, track, women's basketball, as well as clinical and high school outreach. She is licensed by the state of Ohio and certified by the Board of Certification as an athletic trainer. Nicole is also an active member of the NATA, GLATA, and the OATA.
