Michelle Sveda, PT is the PT Clinical Lead for several offsite locations. In this role she is able to divide her time between patient care responsibilities and dedicate the rest to leadership of staff. Michelle Sveda was an integral team member in initiating the successful intensive treadmill program here at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Michelle has been trained by Mobility Research in Tempe, AZ and designated as a LiteGait Trainer. She has traveled across the country doing various trainings and, along with a fellow Nationwide Children's Hospital employee, she patented the Auto-Step which is an accessory for both Gait Trainers and the LiteGait that facilitates a reciprocating gait pattern. Michelle has also been a member of an Idiopathic Toe Walking Clinical Outcome Group which initiated a clinical tool for this diagnosis.
