Biography
Mindy first joined Nationwide Children’s Hospital in 1990 to help preschoolers learn and grow in the hospital’s new Early Childhood Education Center. She later served as an assistant to the Bureau Chief within the Ohio Department of Human Services before returning to the hospital in a part-time capacity. During this time, she raised her two children and worked with the Nationwide Children’s Behavioral Health and Autism teams. She also worked in Ambulatory Registration where she made many friends and helped patients navigate the beginning of each visit to Nationwide Children’s. In 2017, she joined the Sports Medicine Department in her current role of Clinic Assistant to Dr. Drew Duerson. Mindy is passionate about sports and proudly does her part to help young athletes heal from sports injuries and safely return to the game.
