Nationwide Children’s will host its second annual Every Gift Matters Great Toy Drop-Off Saturday, December 14, 9 a.m. to noon in front of the new main hospital located at 630 Children’s Drive. The community is encouraged to drop-off new toys and/or children’s books that will be distributed to patients this holiday season. Volunteers will be on-hand to collect the donations. A gift of toys, games or activity supplies can make a big difference to children and families spending time in the hospital. While we cannot accept food or clothing, here is a list of items we can collect: New toys New or gently used children’s books Brand new stuffed animals with tags still attached Cash donations to support the Child Life Fund Gift cards We ask that the gifts are not wrapped. Also, due to concerns regarding infection control and allergies, we cannot accept used toys or stuffed animals. This includes toys or stuffed animals that have never been played with but have been in a home as part of a collection.
