WHAT: K.I.S.S. Awards Event Friday Evening at Nationwide Children’s Hospital WHEN: Friday, October 1, 2010 6 p.m. – media opportunity WHERE: Nationwide Children’s Hospital Ann I. Wolfe Education Building Stecker Auditorium 575 S. 18th St. Columbus, OH 43205 WHO/WHY: Nationwide Children’s Hospital designed the Kohl’s Is Sold on Safety (K.I.S.S.) program earlier this year with generous support from Kohl’s Department Stores. The K.I.S.S. program is a seasonal educational initiative designed to promote prevention of the most common injuries seen in Nationwide Children’s Emergency Department. Each season, an educational activity booklet and coloring contest page are made available to the public and children become eligible to win prizes by coloring and submitting the contest page. Event attendees are expected from all over central Ohio including Franklin, Licking, Delaware and Fairfield counties, among others.
