Biography
Matthew Paponetti, PT, DPT, is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy on the Sports and Orthopedic Physical Therapy Team and within the Center for Healthy Weight and Nutrition at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. He is a 2020 graduate of The Ohio State University Doctor of Physical Therapy program, completing specializations in Pediatrics and Research. After graduating, he completed his Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in 2021. Matthew has presented locally and nationally on topics including childhood obesity, physical activity, and physical literacy. He is involved in research regarding the biomechanics of obese youth and the growing concept of physical literacy. Matthew is passionate about the role of the physical therapy in treating and preventing pediatric inactivity to ensure all children become confident movers for life.
