Biography

Manmohan “Manu” Kamboj, MD, is division and section chief of the Division of Endocrinology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and a professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. In addition to her clinical roles at Nationwide Children’s, Dr. Kamboj is part of the National Type 1 Diabetes Exchange Quality Improvement Collaborative, which focuses on access to therapies, innovative technologies in the field and new diabetes care practices for children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes.  She is a pediatric endocrinologist with expertise in clinical management of multiple endocrine disorders and diabetes. Her academic focus is the dissemination of pediatric endocrinology for pediatricians. Dr. Kamboj has co-edited two books as well as an endocrine-focused journal issue. She has published more than 50 book chapters, journal articles and bulletins/fact sheets, and has presented more than 35 abstracts largely at national and international conferences. She has various leadership roles in the Pediatric Endocrine Society, including participation on multiple Education Committee initiatives and work as Co-Chair of the Drugs and Therapeutics Committee. Locally, Dr. Kamboj is involved in a variety of important hospital committees, including the Practitioner’s Compliance Committee and The Diagnostic Error Taskforce. Dr. Kamboj received her medical degree from Christian Medical College in India and completed her residency in Pediatrics and then fellowship in Pediatric Endocrinology from New York University Medical Center, NY, NY. Prior to joining Nationwide Children’s, Dr. Kamboj was an associate professor at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and was staff endocrinologist at Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies and Bronson Medical Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Manmohan “Manu” Kamboj, MD, is division and section chief of the Division of Endocrinology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and a professor of Pediatrics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. In addition to her clinical roles at Nationwide Children’s, Dr. Kamboj is part of the National Type 1 Diabetes Exchange Quality Improvement Collaborative, which focuses on access to therapies, innovative technologies in the field and new diabetes care practices for children and adolescents with type 1 diabetes.  She is a pediatric endocrinologist with expertise in clinical management of multiple endocrine disorders and diabetes. Her academic focus is the dissemination of pediatric endocrinology for pediatricians. Dr. Kamboj has co-edited two books as well as an endocrine-focused journal issue. She has published more than 50 book chapters, journal articles and bulletins/fact sheets, and has presented more than 35 abstracts largely at national and international conferences. She has various leadership roles in the Pediatric Endocrine Society, including participation on multiple Education Committee initiatives and work as Co-Chair of the Drugs and Therapeutics Committee.
