Maggie Rowell, MS, AT, ATC, is an athletic trainer in Nationwide Children’s Sports Medicine Department. She works primarily in the orthopedic clinical setting. Before coming to Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Maggie graduated from Saint Louis University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, as well as her Master’s degree in Athletic Training. She has had clinical experiences with NCAA DIII sports teams, as well as in numerous high school settings. She worked alongside a sports medicine physician as a clinical athletic trainer prior to moving to Columbus, Ohio. She is certified by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification and is licensed by the Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Athletic Trainers Board in the state of Ohio.
