Our lab focuses on helping young people and their families live well with inflammatory bowel disease, also known as IBD, Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Previous research by our lab and others has shown that IBD can affect pretty much any area of life. We also collaborate on projects that investigate barriers to getting good IBD care (and how to reduce barriers to improve IBD care), helping patients improve their own IBD care, and learning how psychosocial services during clinic appointments can be useful.
