LINEAS de SANGRE is the third chapter in a trio of works that instigate from archetypal and ancestral work. This series began with Bruja // Fugitive Majesty, a solo by choreographer Taja Will, presented by the Right Here Showcase (2017), followed by Blood Language, a work interrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic and released as a digital archive (2020). LINEAS pulls at threads of content and imagery and directly invites large and small echoes of Bruja and Blood Language through its final chapter. This chapter defines itself through a devotion to plant ancestors and land sovereignty, to indigenous solidarity and decolonization in artistic practice.
