Jamie L. Jackson, PhD Principal Investigator Jamie Jackson, PhD, earned her doctorate in clinical health psychology from The Ohio State University in 2010. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago then returned to Columbus to complete a second two-year research postdoctoral fellowship as part of a T32 training grant in The Heart Center at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Dr. Jackson joined the faculty in the Center for Biobehavioral Health in 2013.

Kristen R. Fox, PhD Postdoctoral Scientist Kristen Fox, PhD, earned her doctorate in clinical psychology with an emphasis in health psychology from Ohio University. Dr. Fox earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. Her research interests include psychosocial factors related to congenital heart disease and organ transplantation as well as motivational interviewing intervention outcomes.

Victoria Grant Research Assistant Victoria, originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, graduated from the University of Florida in the Spring of 2021. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in Behavioral and Cognitive Neuroscience and minors in Health Disparities in Society and Health Science. Her research interests include resilience and coping of marginalized and unrepresented populations and trauma-informed interventions for interpersonal and family stress. Victoria hopes to pursue a Clinical Child Psychology Ph.D. to continue her education, in the future. In her free time, she loves to spend time outdoors, explore new restaurants and activities, and travel.
