During her undergraduate years, Abigail conducted research on the effects of electronic cigarettes on inflammation. Before joining Nationwide Children’s, Abigail worked as a middle school teacher where she developed a love for working with children to help them achieve best outcomes. Brynn is a Clinical Research Coordinator at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at Kenyon College in 2022. Brynn is currently working for the Omega Tots study and is interested in child development and education reform.

Karolina Edlund Clinical Research Coordinator I  karolina.edlund@nationwidechildrens.org Karolina Edlund is a clinical research coordinator on the Omega Heroes study, a clinical trial evaluating the efficacy of a fatty acid supplement in children with autism. Originally from Atlanta, GA, she graduated summa cum laude from Kenyon College this past May, where she majored in neuroscience and anthropology. Passionate about women and children’s public health, Karolina hopes to pursue a PhD in epidemiology and a career in research and teaching. She loves singing in her free time.  Kexin (Sherry) Huang Clinical Research Coordinator I kexin.huang@nationwidechildrens.org Sherry is a clinical research coordinator in the Keim Lab at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She graduated from Grinnell College in 2022 with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and a neuroscience concentration. Sherry is currently on the Omega Tots study team, looking into long-term effects of nutritional supplementation in toddlerhood for children who are born preterm.
