Our lab is currently engaged in a NIH-funded R01 study. This is a multisite randomized clinical trial investigating the effects of a behavioral meal time intervention on nutritional intake and weight status of preschoolers with cystic fibrosis. Our lab is also involved in other studies in both cystic fibrosis and sickle cell disease. We engage in clinical research that focuses on the psychosocial aspects of living with a chronic illness as well as adherence to complex treatment regimens.
