Dr. Mytinger is a clinical research scientist with a special interest in children with developmental and epileptic encephalopathy including but not limited to West syndrome. His publications have focused on the use of first-line (standard) therapies for infantile spasms and the use of clinical EEG to monitor treatment response. He and his team have also developed a reliable method of determining the presence or absence of epileptic encephalopathy using electroencephalography.
