John Smith, MBA, MSEd, AT, has come to Nationwide Children’s after directing the Lake Health Sports Medicine program, in Lake County Ohio, for 15 years. He has been an athletic trainer for the past 26 years and has worked in professional indoor soccer, high school and in sports medicine clinics during his tenure. During his time at Lake Health he oversaw the creation and growth of many different types of clinics, including physician and concussion clinics, as well as a workers compensation clinic to meet the demands of the local community.
