Biography

Jennifer has over 30 years’ experience as an OT working in the Neonatal Intensive Care setting. She is certified as a Newborn Individualized Developmental Care Assessment Program (NIDCAP) Trainer and has had the honor of training NICU professionals around the world. She is currently the Program Manager for the multidisciplinary neonatal therapy team at NCH. Her clinical and research interests include infant feeding, developmental care, and the development of assessment tools to translate qualitative concepts into quantitative measures that enhance transdisciplinary communication. She is also a member of the Fussy Baby Network and is a Trainer in the use of the Facilitating Attuned iNteractions (FAN) model of parent engagement and infant mental health. Jennifer is currently co-chair of the Safe Sleep Committee for the intensive care units and co-chair of the Developmental Care Competency Committee for the Neonatal Network.
