Jana Desrochers, AT, ATC, is the clinic assistant lead for Sports Medicine at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Jana is the Clinical Assistant to Dr. Amy Valasek, both of whom joined the Nationwide Children’s Sports Medicine team in 2014. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training from Ohio University in 1995.
Jana has over 15 years experience in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. She is certified by the BOC and is licensed by the Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Athletic Training Board. Prior to joining the Nationwide Children’s Sports Medicine team, Jana worked with Wright State Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine for over 8 years. In her free time she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband Joe and their rescued pooch, CPL Murphy.

Jana is the Clinical Assistant to Dr. Amy Valasek, both of whom joined the Nationwide Children’s Sports Medicine team in 2014. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training from Ohio University in 1995.
Jana has over 15 years experience in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. She is certified by the BOC and is licensed by the Ohio Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Athletic Training Board. Prior to joining the Nationwide Children’s Sports Medicine team, Jana worked with Wright State Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine for over 8 years. In her free time she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband Joe and their rescued pooch, CPL Murphy.
