        James MacDonald, MD, MPH is a physician for Nationwide Children's Sports Medicine and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and Family Medicine at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He is fellowship trained and board certified in sports medicine. He is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine, the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. MacDonald attended medical school at Harvard Medical School before completing a Family Practice Residency at Maine- Dartmouth in Augusta, ME and a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital in Boston, MA. He is a member of the USA Swimming Medical Task Force and an Associate Editor of the Clinical Journal of Sports Medicine.
