As a continued effort to limit the spread of COVID-19 in our community, the volunteer program is still on pause as of July 2021. The first priority is to have our current volunteers return safely. Our hope is to begin accepting and processing new volunteer applications in 2022. We appreciate everything volunteers do for our patients, guests and staff. Short Term Group Volunteering Opportunities Are you looking for short term group volunteering opportunities? Please visit the Ronald McDonald House website to learn more about group volunteer experiences. Entertainment and Special Events Entertainment and Special Events are part of our healing environment and includes music, theater, dance, performance or other special events. We look for groups that are well rehearsed, have previous public entertainment experience, and who can perform or interact for 40 to 60 minutes. These events are booked on Monday through Thursday evenings, or Sunday afternoons at least one month in advance. Our November and December calendars are typically filled by October.
