The Division of Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine at Nationwide Children’s Hospital provides the highest quality clinical care for children and adults with congenital respiratory disorders including asthma, cystic fibrosis, primary ciliary dyskinesia, interstitial lung diseases, disorders of breathing control, sleep-related breathing disorders, hemoglobinopathies and neuromuscular diseases. Additionally, our providers care for those approaching and following lung and heart-lung transplant, advanced lung disease management, and for management of those requiring long-term mechanical ventilation. Given the many challenges these children and their families face, it is important that the care we deliver is multidisciplinary and often multi-specialty in nature. Another extremely important part of our mission is to provide medical education to prepare the next generation of clinicians, scientists and educators.
