Biography
Danna Qunibi, MD, MBOE, is an Associate Medical Director of the Regional Hospitalist Program and the Physician Lead of the Pediatric Outreach Program at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Dr. Qunibi joined the Division of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in 2018 after completing her Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago, IL and Pediatric Residency at Johns Hopkins Children’s Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Her academic and administrative interests stem from a passion to provide goal standard & high quality pediatric care to children within local and regional community hospitals. With the use of her Master of Business in Operational Excellence, she is leading the strategic planning and program building of the pediatric outreach program and actively delivers education through webinars, and case reviews and provides clinical and quality improvement support to regional hospital providers. She is also leading a national workgroup through the IMPACTs group on the creation of a standardized checklist for community hospitals to utilize in assessing their readiness to care for the acutely decompensating child.
