Classes OfferedAutism Academy The Autism Academy provides educational sessions for parents of children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). These sessions are open to anyone in the community interested in knowing more about autism. The program is not designed to replace ongoing treatment nor can it be geared to individual children. Program courses range from a general understanding of autism to age and topic-specific information, including school and Individualized Education Programs (IEP), behavior, eating, skill development, social interaction and more. Check back soon for information about 2023 classes. Sibshops℠ At Sibshops℠, siblings of children with autism and other developmental delays (ages 6 to 12) participate in fun activities to celebrate the many contributions made by brothers and sisters. Sibshops engages children through fun and games to explore feelings and share information to better understand their sibling with autism and other developmental delays.
