Biography

Christin A. McDonald-Fix, PhD, BCBA, COBA, currently serves as the psychology manager for the Complex Behavior Program (CBP) within the Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders. CBP serves children with autism who present with complex, often intense, behavioral needs. Within CBP, Dr. McDonald-Fix oversees a service line, Comprehensive Family Intervention (CFI), which provides evidence-based behavioral treatment (often in concert with individual and family therapies) to children with autism spectrum disorder and co-occurring mental health diagnoses, along with their families. Dr. McDonald-Fix obtained her PhD in Counseling and School psychology from the University at Buffalo, the State University of New York (SUNY), funded by multiple grants through the Institute for Autism Research. She subsequently completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Nationwide Children’s Hospital’s Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders.
