Cassie do Carmo BSN, RN, serves as a nurse clinician for the Center for Colorectal and Pelvic Reconstruction (CCPR) at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount Carmel College of Nursing in 2015. Cassie’s nursing background prior to colorectal includes cardiology and pediatric ER nursing. Since starting with CCPR in 2017, Cassie has presented at the 4th and 5th annual Colorectal Nursing Conference and Colorectal and Pelvic Reconstruction Conference, APSNA in 2018, and has traveled to Costa Rica with the Colorectal Team Oversees (CTO) for a medical mission trip. In 2019, she transitioned to a new position within CCPR focusing specifically on international patients, patients with urological and gynecological concerns, as well as inpatient education and discharge planning.
