Biography

        Carrie S. Lewis, NNP is a board certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner specializing in caring for all newborns requiring specialized treatment. She has dedicated her entire nursing career to premature infants and their families. She is an active member of the PICC traveling Team and also serves as an APN senate representative. She obtained her undergraduate nursing degree at Capital University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She worked at Nationwide Children's level III NICU for 4 years and then pursued her Masters of Science degree from The Ohio State University where she continued her advanced career at Nationwide Children's Level IIl NICU located at Grant Hospital. She continues to be a leader on her home unit where she heads up the Mock Code Committee to improve response times and practices to ensure best outcomes for her patients. She also assists in teaching neonatal resuscitation program to RN staff, neonatologists, and residents. Carrie is extremely interested in improving overall neonatal outcomes and works closely with staff to provide the best possible care to the  families in her care.
