The 7th annual Bull Run, presented by Merrill Lynch Wealth Management and benefiting Nationwide Children’s Hospital, will take place on Saturday, August 7, at McPherson Commons. Hundreds of participants will come together not only to conquer the annual 5K trek through the city, but also to show the strength of a community. The Bull Run will take participants through the heart of downtown Columbus, and include a fun filled morning with food, music, family entertainment and awards. Started by just a small group of Merrill Lynch employees, the Bull Run has grown to include hundreds of runners and has raised over $300,000 to benefit Nationwide Children’s Hospital. With the support of past participants, Bull Run has brought comfort and cures to hundreds of kids in the community. Registration opens at 7 a.m. with the Kids Fun Run beginning at 8:30 a.m. followed by the 5K Run/Walk at 9 a.m. Registrations fees are $15 for the Kids Fun Run and $25 for the 5K Run/Walk which includes a technical shirt, medal, food and family activities.
