Biography
Amy is a Registered Licensed Dietitian with the Center for Healthy Weight and Nutrition at Nationwide Children's Hospital. She completed her undergraduate studies in Dietetics in 2004 from Michigan State University and she went on to receive her Master's Degree in Medical Dietetics from The Ohio State University in 2006. Amy works with the New U and New U Jr. Medical Weight Loss Programs at the Center for Healthy Weight and Nutrition as well as the Strong Well Fit community grant funded program with the local YMCAs of Columbus, Ohio. Prior to joining Nationwide Children's Hospital in January 2010, Amy worked as a dietitian for Mount Carmel Hospital where she covered the areas of outpatient nutrition counseling, Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, and Corporate Health & Wellness. Amy's areas of interest include pediatric weight management, wellness, education, disease prevention, and community outreach. Amy is a member of both the American Dietetic Association and the Ohio Dietetic Association.
