After completing her masters degree, Amanda spent approximately 8 years working in hospice bringing comfort and quality of life to those with terminal diagnoses. However, Amanda’s focus from undergrad had been in child welfare. Amanda desired to get back to her original passion, working with children and families, and joined the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Craniofacial and Plastic Surgery team in 2018. Here, she enjoys meeting with patients and families to offer support, connection to local resources and assistance in working through access to care barriers.
