The symposium is designed to address novel and emerging treatments of patients with primary metastatic and relapsed bone and soft tissue sarcoma. Despite intensive therapies and incorporation of novel agents, the therapeutic plateau has not been overcome. The aim of this symposium is to review known strategies of care for this patient population with aggressive disease and highlight recent and ongoing advances in the field of sarcoma biology, pre-clinical advances, new clinical trials and also the use of immune-oncology for treatment.
